ABQ-DEN (Albuquerque-Denver)
I'm saying goodbye to New Mexico for another year. Don't get me wrong, it turned out to be a good trip... I saw some beautiful scenery, met wonderful students and counselors and had some delicious New Mexican food. The only reason I wish I could have stayed longer is that the Albuquerque hot air balloon festival starts this weekend! I'm adding that to my travel wish list.
Even though I try not to wish my time away, I'm happy to be moving on to the next phase of the trip.... Denver. The next 3 days will be spent at the NACAC conference with thousands of other admission and high school professionals. Included will be many friends, so my social interactions will improve dramatically from my time in NM. :)
